Description

Ubiquiti UniFi Building-to-Building Bridge (UBB) Jeddah

The Ubiquiti UniFi Building-to-Building Bridge (UBB) is a 60 GHz/5 GHz wireless bridge with 1+ Gbps of throughput. It is the ideal solution for high-throughput connectivity with a range of up to 500 m. Integration with the UniFi Controller makes bridging two networks seamless. Comprised of two pre-paired endpoint devices, the UBB delivers a Point-to-Point (PtP) link – up to 1+ Gbps – using 802.11ad technology on the low-interference 60 GHz radio band. For backup, a 5 GHz radio using 802.11ac technology is available.

The UniFi Building-to-Building Network Bridge Jeddah from Ubiquiti Networks is engineered to be an easy solution for connecting two separate buildings’ networks, and achieving gigabit speeds in the process. This 2-pack of radios include a pole mounting kit for installation on each building’s rooftop. Each radio is aimed at each other to connect networks over a 60 GHz signal for up to 1.7+ Gb/s bi-directional speeds.

Ubiquiti UniFi Building-to-Building Bridge (UBB) Features

  • 60 GHz Operating Frequency
  • Wireless Link Redundancy
  • Pre-Paired Configuration
  • Sleek Industrial Design
  • Convenient Alignment
  • Mounting Versatility
  • LED Alignment
    • The bridge radios require direct line-of-sight to connect to each other, and the built-in LED rings on each radio give you a visual indicator of where to aim each one. If the radios are misaligned, more of the ring will light red. As the radios pick up each other’s signal, the rings turn blue. A solid blue ring on each radio means they are positioned correctly.
  • 5 GHz Redundancy
    • In order to achieve speeds of up to 1.7+ Gb/s, the radios utilize a 60 GHz signal to transmit information. At 60 GHz, the signal can attenuate due to solid objects or inclement weather getting in the way. This is why Ubiquiti added a more robust 5 GHz redundant backup signal for the radios to use if needed, but if used, networking speeds will be diminished.
  • Gigabit PoE Power
    • The radios have a single Gigabit PoE connection for information and power, helping you setup the bridge connection in minutes.
  • Long Range
    • With a clear line-of-sight, the UniFi Building-to-Building Network Bridge can link two networks together from up to 1640′ away.
  • UniFi Network Controller
    • This kit can be monitored and setup via the UniFi Network Controller app for iOS and Android devices. UniFi Network Controller lets you control an entire end-to-end system of network devices across different locations from a single interface.
